Our History

Though we have only been a business since 2007 we have been making mums for almost two decades. We began making mums in 1991, when my best friend's mom owned a floral shop. We purchased satin ribbons, took them to her and she taught me how to make my braids and how to assemble a mum. The next year we made mine on our own as well as the garter for my boyfriend, mum for my brother's girl friend and my brother's garter. By the next year we made those listed above as well as those for my friends. This continued for those attending my High School and eventually friends from neighboring schools asked us to make mums for their family and friends.

Our mums are unique in that they are not made with the acetate ribbons that can be purchased in the floral or craft stores. Another feature of our ribbons is that there are very few solid or non designed ribbons used other then in the lettering streamers. In addition there is very little glue used, our mums and our ribbons are sewn on the backing. our braids are made of the same quality ribbons that are used throughout our mums. Another unique feature of our garter is they too are made of the satin ribbons are not the stiff, scratchy garters that have been the standard. Lastly we have a supplier of custom ribbon that can print on the ribbons, if we receive $200.00 worth of orders from your school in one year we will order this ribbon custom for your school which will be available for the following year.

We do use the same supplier as many of the craft supply stores, for the trinkets and flowers, therefore anything that you see there we either do have or can get rapidly.
